Free Higher Education Scheme 2025 Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has taken an important step to provide higher education to the children of workers. She has announced that children of industrial and mining workers will be given free admission in seven campuses of COMSATS University. Under this scheme, the Punjab government will bear all the educational expenses itself, so that children of working families can study without any financial hurdle.
This scheme has been launched through the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund, and registered workers can apply for it. The special thing is that the children of workers who have become disabled or have died will also be given full educational facilities.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that now the doors of higher educational institutions have been opened for the children of every laborer in Punjab. She promised that no child in Punjab will be deprived of education now.
Applications for admission can be submitted in different campuses as per the following schedule:

In her special message on Father’s Day, the Chief Minister appreciated the role of fathers. She said:
“A father is like an umbrella that protects his children from the scorching sun and keeps them in the shade. He not only teaches them to live, but also teaches them to live with dignity.”
She added:
I salute every father who loves his children and fulfills their rights. I pray that every son and daughter gets a father who encourages them to dream and fulfill those dreams.”
On Global Wind Day, the Chief Minister stressed the importance of alternative energy. He said that there are innumerable opportunities for generating electricity from wind in the Thal area of Punjab. The government will launch wind energy projects in partnership with the public and private sectors for sustainable development.
